I am finally getting ready to get back to work on Rustang. It's been about 4 years since I posted anything on the site due to band, family and work obligations. I haven't done much of anything to Rustang in that time, she has basically been sitting in my garage under a cover. I sold Slugstang last summer but will keep the info up for anyone still doing 2.3 Turbo swaps. Check back soon for updates and details of the planned work for Rustang.

I haven't posted much lately as I have been working long hours and also went on a two week cruise ship vacation to the Grand Cayman Islands and Jamaica. I have been driving my 2.3L Turbo car for about a month now. Check the Slugstang section for updates. I have also decided to move from carburetion on Rustang to EFI so I have sold off most of my carb stuff and began collecting all the EFI gadgets to do the swap. I pretty much have everything except for the intake and throttle body which I hope to have shortly. I will be performing the swap in June.

After extensive research into getting more HP out of the 2.3L 4cyl engine in Slugstang I have decided to go the Turbo route instead. Check out the Slugstang>>LatestInfo section for more details.

Posted a few updates today. Mostly in the 85 Info section and a tad in the Mach 460 section to reflect the Mach 1000 system released in 2002. I have been meaning to post pictures of Rustang showing how she looks now with the 9" and 13.5" Mickey Thompson's but I've been slacking. Working two jobs 14 hours a day doesn't leave me much time anymore. I will try to get some updated pictures of Rustang up shortly.

I also recently purchased two 4cyl Mustangs. An 85 Notchback and an 89 Hatchback. The 89 will simply be a parts car. I will be switching the entire EFI system, dash and wiring harness from the 89 hatchback to the 85 notchback. The 85 will be my new commuter car so I can stop driving my gas guzzling F150 truck. I'll post pictures of this shortly as well.

It has been almost a year since I last updated this site. I guess it's about due considering where I am at on the Rustang project. I have removed a lot of info from this site that I just don't have time to update or that I just felt needed to go. If you miss anything send me an email am I may repost it.
